It&#8217;s the <strong>homemade, foolproof mascarpone whipped cream <\/strong>that I use the most.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s my favorite cream when I&#8217;m looking for lightness in a cake. I chose it to make my <a href=\"https:\/\/gateauetcuisinerachida.com\/en\/kinder-bueno-chocolate-layer-cake\/\"><strong>kinder bueno chocolate layer cake <\/strong><\/a>that you liked so much. This is the <strong>birthday cake <\/strong>that wins everyone&#8217;s hearts.<\/p>\n<div class=\"pcrstb-wrap\"><table style=\"width: 100%; border-collapse: collapse; border-style: solid;\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"width: 100%; background-color: #f7e7d7;\"><strong>Mascarpone whipped cream<\/strong> is a variant of whipped cream. It can be used to fill sponge cakes, decorate number cakes or cupcakes. Mascarpone whipped cream is ideal for decorating with a piping tip. Its consistency is perfect while still being very light.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table><\/div>\n<p>It gained popularity when the cupcake and rose cake became very trendy. You&#8217;ve probably noticed the success of cupcakes decorated with rosettes and roses using the Wilton 1M and 2D tips. We like to use this chantilly cream in many <span style=\"color: #000000;\">layered cakes like my strawberry layer cake, or just to decorate a <a href=\"https:\/\/gateauetcuisinerachida.com\/en\/strawberry-tart-recipe-with-pastry-cream\/\"><strong>fruit tart<\/strong><\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>How much mascarpone should I add?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\">I tend to use less mascarpone for the<strong> filling mascarpone whipped cream<\/strong>. This ratio of <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">1:3 mascarpone to 2:3 heavy cream<\/span> will give you a rich and stable whipped cream. For making roses or smoothing a layer cake, I use a <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"> 50:50 ratio of mascarpone to heavy cream,<\/span> or even a bit more mascarpone for extra firmness.<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The more mascarpone you use, the smoother the whipped cream becomes. For smoothing a cake, I don&#8217;t whip the mascarpone whipped cream too stiff. In fact, you don&#8217;t want it to be too thick for perfect smoothing.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">As you can see in the two photos above, the <strong> mascarpone whipped cream <\/strong> on the left is less whipped and smoother, while the one on the right is well-whipped and very fluffy. If it&#8217;s warm enough, before starting, place the mixing bowl and whisk in the freezer for 10 minutes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>2. You can whip the mascarpone and cream together from the start; however, sometimes the mascarpone may not loosen properly and form lumps.<\/p>\n<p>3. For a long time now, I&#8217;ve preferred to proceed as follows. Loosen the mascarpone with a whisk to make it smooth.<\/p>\n<p>5. Whip the heavy cream at low speed. As soon as many bubbles appear, continue beating at medium speed.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;6. Add vanilla beans or extract. When the cream is softly whipped, add the powdered sugar and let the mixer run for a few more seconds.<\/p>\n<p>7.&nbsp; Add the mascarpone and whip until stiff.<\/p>\n<p>8. To color it, simply add a bit of gel food coloring during the mixing process.<\/p>\n<p>9. If the mascarpone whipped cream loses some of its firmness at room temperature, refrigerate for a few minutes.<\/p>\n<p>10. Use immediately for filling, decorating or smoothing cakes.<\/p>\n<p>11. Many people use it because it&#8217;s quite tasty and light, despite the butter it contains.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m not talking about American buttercream made with butter and powdered sugar, or traditional buttercream made with p\u00e2te \u00e0 bombe. This one is to be made with a beautiful Swiss meringue that makes it very light and airy.<\/p>\n<p>Those who are disgusted by the idea of eating buttercream will be delighted to learn that <strong>mascarpone whipped cream<\/strong> also makes very good layer cake frostings. You just need a little more patience and to play with the cold. It&#8217;s the one I choose most of the time. You&#8217;ll achieve a<span style=\"color: #000000;\"> smoothness almost as good as<\/span> <strong>buttercream<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>I really like<a href=\"https:\/\/gateauetcuisinerachida.com\/en\/vanilla-diplomat-cream-creme-diplomate\/\"><strong> vanilla diplomat cream <\/strong><\/a>and the <strong>whipped ganache<\/strong> which I also use quite often in my cakes. The whipped white chocolate ganache I used in the <strong>pear caramel layer cake <\/strong>also contains mascarpone. I&#8217;ve used it for filling as well as for smoothing. It gives very satisfactory results.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Why mascarpone in this whipped cream?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>If you add mascarpone to a heavy cream before whipping, the whole thing will rise better and more easily. You&#8217;ll achieve a <strong> firmer whipped cream<\/strong> with better stability. It will be perfect for piping.<\/p>\n<p>You won&#8217;t need to add stabilizers like Chantifix to achieve firmness in your whipped cream anymore. We always recommend using a heavy cream with more than 30% fat content to make the whipped cream rise easily. By adding mascarpone, which is rich in fat, the stability becomes perfect.<\/p>\n<div class=\"pcrstb-wrap\"><table style=\"width: 100%; border-collapse: collapse; border-style: solid;\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"width: 100%; background-color: #f7e7d7;\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/gateauetcuisinerachida.com\/en\/tag\/mascarpone-en\/\"><strong>mascarpone<\/strong><\/a> is a well-known Italian cheese. He is most famous for <a href=\"https:\/\/gateauetcuisinerachida.com\/en\/classic-italian-tiramisu-recipe\/\"><strong>Tiramisu<\/strong><\/a>. <span style=\"color: #000000;\">It is quite fatty, which helps your <strong> cream whip up perfectly.<\/strong> It is also used in many cakes, quiches and cakes such as<\/span> <strong><a
