Hello, welcome to my blog Gâteau et cuisine Rachida. Passionate about pastry and cooking, I share my tried and tested recipes with you. You’ll find basic recipes, French pastry classics and recipes from around the world, as well as Moroccan, Algerian and Tunisian recipes, especially during the month of Ramadan. The recipes are often accompanied by step-by-step picture or video tutorials. On the blog, you’ll find recipes from the simplest to the most difficult, which I try to simplify to make them accessible to all.
My passion for pastry-making was born on my son’s 6th birthday. I wanted to prepare everything, to see her eyes sparkle in front of her birthday cake and to be proud of her mom. From that day on, I never missed an opportunity to make cakes. Over the years, my passion has only grown.
Baking has become a real pleasure, a hobby, a stress reliever. My leitmotiv is to please myself and above all to please others. I can stay in my kitchen for hours without seeing the time go by.
I started sharing on facebook groups and a lot of people were asking me where to find my recipes and if I didn’t have a website. That’s how the desire to create a blog was born.
I started by creating my own facebook page on which I shared my recipes. Some time later, the blog was born. To satisfy my community and at their request, I have also created a youtube channel gateau et cuisine Rachida. The video recipes are a plus, especially for explaining techniques that are difficult to explain in writing.
Today, my Facebook page has 220,000,000 subscribers, and I’ve won youtube brand validation and the throne by surpassing the 150,000,000 fans mark. If anyone had ever told me, I wouldn’t have believed it. I never imagined that I would have so much support, so many likes, so many messages of thanks and so much love and sympathy.
