Mango, Lime and Turmeric Mojito Recipe

A delicious mango, lemon and turmeric mojito recipe. A sparkling non-alcoholic cocktail for a great aperitif.

EQUIPEMENTS

INGREDIENTS 

  • 1 large ripe mango but not too soft
  • 2 limes juiced (or lemons, or a mix of both)
  • 3 oranges juiced
  • 1 and a half teaspoons of turmeric
  • 65 g (2.3 oz) brown sugar
  • 15 fresh mint leaves more or less according to taste
  • A few ice cubes
  • Sparkling water like Perrier to dilute the cocktail
  • Orange slices to garnish the glasses

PREPARATION

  • Peel the mango and cut into pieces.
  • Place the mango pieces with the mint leaves in the blender. Add the orange juice, lemon juice, brown sugar and turmeric. Blend until smooth.
  • Pour into a mixing bowl. Strain and refrigerate until ready to serve.
  • Before serving, add sparkling water and serve in glasses and carafe. You can also serve directly into the glasses. Pour the desired amount of mango mixture into each glass, add a few ice cubes and top up with sparkling water.
  • You can use a shaker, adding 2 or 3 ice cubes and 1 tablespoon of the mocktail concentrate and stirring well. Pour into glass and top up with sparkling water.
  • Stir and serve chilled. Garnish glasses with a slice of lemon or orange.
